The SJ Pro Soccer coaching staff took time out from their busy schedule to get involved in the local community. This past month we had the pleasure visiting the Egg Harbor Township Intermediate School. Under the watchful eyes of the P.E. Department we were able to interact with kids for a two day clinic.

New to the South Jersey Pro Soccer Camp syllabus is the High School player pre-season camp. This camp is the only one of its kind in South Jersey run by experienced ex-professional players who have gone through countless pre-seasons all over the world as players. Who better to get the serious high school player ready for their season with their high school teams. The camp will also include guest coaches from England currently working with our affiliated club Reading FC.

South Jersey Pro Soccer will be holding our position specific camps during the week of August 3rd - 7th, 2009 at Winslow High/Middle School from 9:00am - 12:00pm. We will be holding camps for Defenders, Midfielders, Forwards and Goalkeepers. Players can register online through our secure registration servcie or by mail.

In a landmark agreement, the South Jersey Barons organization, fronted by their Premier Development League (PDL) club, the Ocean City Barons, have formed a partnership with Reading Football Club of the English Premier League (EPL). As part of the agreement, which was organized through Reading’s "Football in the Community Trust" program, the "Royals" will send some of their coaches to lend their expertise and help run the Barons’ youth academy camp in August. Also, Reading FC will continue to host the Barons’ youth teams during Easter weekend, as they expose the young players to some of the top facilities at one of the elite youth development clubs in the EPL.
